Through an introduction by an Employment Law Solicitor we were engaged by an Office Supply company to deal with a grievance appeal.
What started as a straight forward appeal hearing developed into a second grievance and second grievance appeal as the employee raised further and more complex issues. Although initial indications were that the case would go to court we managed to deal with the situation without recourse to an Employment Tribunal. This was done through carefully managed meetings and considered correspondence to ensure that the employee had every opportunity to air their concerns and that the employer responded in a measured and constructive manner.
