Nicky has ten years experience as an independent training and HR consultant following an early career path within a major accountancy partnership.
Specialising in financial skills training and personal skills development, Nicky has delivered on a number of highly successful projects.
Nicky brings a special combination of experience and skills to her work with clients based on ten years at KPMG, initially in traditional accountancy roles and then as Training Manager. Her particular responsibility for Exam training and Graduate Recruitment, provides a unique insight into this aspect of the day-to-day running of professional practices. Equally, her time at KPMG ensures an in depth understanding of the way professional practices operate as well as the business issues that drive HR and Training requirements.
Typical projects for Nicky include the development and delivery of training packages, the facilitation of business skills training plus individual assessment and coaching. Areas of special expertise in the business skills training arena include counselling skills, effective presentations, interview techniques, recruitment and graduate recruitment. A particular speciality is the development and delivery of financial management training.
Nicky is experienced in the use of training tools and techniques as well as selecting those most appropriate to support the delivery of each project. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and registered as Level B qualified with the British Psychological Society.
Nicky’s warm, friendly and supportive style is proven to deliver results whether working with a group of 50 students or with individual senior managers and partners.
