With almost 20 years experience Monica has considerable expertise in HR with a wide range of roles across a number of sectors. She began her career in the Motor Industry before moving on to further senior HR roles in Food Manufacturing, Financial Services and the Higher Education Sector.
Monica has particular expertise in developing HR solutions in companies undergoing significant competitive challenges often requiring re-organisation and restructuring to help them face these challenges. Her involvement has ranged from leading and managing projects from the development of potential solutions, planning and facilitating consultation with staff and their representatives, communications with various stakeholders through to developing new sets of terms and conditions, materials and any follow up.
Monica has also worked in large scale and specialist campaigns covering recruitment of large numbers of graduates and manual employees as well as senior and highly skilled staff.
She has a clear understanding of the issues relating to the development of staff both from the perspective of directly managing groups of professional and senior staff through to the coaching and one to one work with Managers and professional staff.
Throughout her career Monica has also dealt with a considerable amount of casework in grievance, discipline and harassment etc.
Monica’s style is pragmatic. She is highly skilled at quickly building positive relationships which allow her to develop business focussed solutions based on a sound understanding of how a business works, the environment they operate in and the challenges they face.
