Becky has worked within a number of businesses (including leisure, construction, and accountancy) and run her own successful company. As a consequence she has developed a breadth of understanding of different industry sectors and business cultures.
With over 10 years experience in HR, Becky has established herself not only as an excellent generalist but has a wealth of knowledge in the recruitment field. She has experience at all levels of the recruitment process. Becky has a strong propensity for building rapport at interview and getting the best of the candidate. She sees the project through from beginning to end; developing job descriptions/person specifications that not only reflect the culture of the organisation, but realistically demonstrate the abilities which are being sought. She is highly skilled in designing adverts which not only promote the company but appeal to the audience.
During her management of graduate recruitment campaigns, Becky has built strong links with the Universities and College Advisory Services and has raised the profile of the relevant businesses at Open Days and Careers Fairs.
Becky is also highly experienced in advising on the management of staff performance. This includes annual performance appraisals, disciplinaries and grievances. She supports the process through the provision of advice and documentation and if appropriate, will assist in the face to face meetings.
Becky’s emphasis is on a flexible approach which achieves results. She is very comfortable presenting to large groups whether it be part of a company's induction process, at development and assessment centres or skills training. Becky's informal but professional style is well received at all levels.
Becky is MCIPD qualified (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and a Saville & Holdsworth administrator. She has also received counselling skills training.
